Places of Power
In a beautiful location just past Fiss is a walking trail for a leisurely walk with the entire family. The new loop trail is idyllically situated and is wide enough so that even families with buggies or those in wheelchairs can use this trail with ease.
There are small feelgood stops along the way so you can take a moment to relax and enjoy your surroundings. The large lookout tower lets visitors look out over the entire area and enjoy a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. In order to enjoy relaxing hours without a sunburn, you can hire parasols free of charge. Hiring them is very simple with the insertion of a coin, as is often the case with shopping trollies.
For children – the large "Wolfspirsch" adventure parkThis play and adventure park is divided into three areas. They depict the habitat of the wolf, the bear and the lynx. Just like hunters and predators, children and their parents roam the area and become familiar through interactive elements with how these animals live. These animals once called this place home and are returning to slowly re-establish themselves in the region.
Feel good all around!
There are fifteen particularly beautiful spots throughout the entire hiking area with ergonomic loungers, comfortable hammocks and cosy covered wicker beach chairs so you can rest and relax. Here you can refuel between hikes, enjoy some time sunbathing or simply marvel at the amazing panoramic view... Why not treat yourself to some relaxation time?
The locations of these feelgood stops are found here in the sun panorama.
The Art Tail in Fiss leads from Schönjoch over the ridge to the Frommes summit cross. Along the way various art works from different materials such as wood, marble, steel, stone and granite are issued.
All artworks were created as part of the culinary autumn event "Art on the Mountain" by famous artists directly on the Schönjoch. The Art Trail is also suitable for buggies. The exhibited artworks are extended and/or replaced every year and can be purchased. At the end of the Art Trail there is a wonderful viewpoint with a rotating viewing bench.
