Pitztaler Glacier

The Pitztal Glacier is one of the most beautiful glacier regions in the Tyrol and on earth. A dream-like sunny terrace at 2,840 m above sea level offers breath-taking views of the Tyrolean mountains and guarantees unforgettable moments.

Directions:

A safe and well-maintained glacier trail to Taschachhaus begins at the mountain station of the Pitztal panorama gondola. It winds its way past the Wildspitze and Brochkogel mountains, offering breath-taking views. Those who love adventure can rappel down into a glacier crevasse as part of a guided tour.

Hiking time: approximately 3 hours
Prerequisites: adequate gear, secure footwear and no fear of heights.
